Henri Selmer first saxophone "modele 22" was out on the market in the year of 1922.

It is generally agreed that Selmer Paris has made one of the best saxophones ever.
The most popular and sought after model is the Mark VI.
It seems to be more demand for the Mark VI with a 5 digit serial number for unknown reasons.
A very few models of Mark VI was made in silver plate or gold plate.
